Capturing Loss Photography, a specialized program of Capturing Hopes Photography, was born from a deeply personal experience. After Deneen Bryan's five-month-old daughter, Christina, passed away in 1998, she experienced the immeasurable comfort of receiving professional photographs that preserved precious memories of her daughter. Inspired by that act of compassion, Deneen dedicated her life to ensuring other grieving families would have the same opportunity to honor and remember their babies.

Today, Deneen is an internationally recognized photographer and educator whose work has been featured by the BBC, The Today Show, People magazine, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, and numerous other major media outlets. Widely regarded as a leading voice in perinatal bereavement photography, she has pioneered education in Neonatal Immersion Photography (NIP)—a specialized saline immersion technique that creates beautiful, compassionate images honoring babies who have died.

Through this workshop, participants will learn from one of the field's most respected educators, gaining practical skills, technical knowledge, and the confidence to preserve irreplaceable memories for grieving families with dignity, compassion, and excellence.
