"Our beautiful second daughter Harper was born at 34 weeks, 5 days in an emergency c-section due to reduced fetal movement on October 7, 2022. She spent 8 hard fighting days in the NICU before dying on October 15th. After a completely healthy pregnancy, it was determined months after her death that she had a cord compression in utero resulting in loss of oxygen. Our lives shattered in an instant as we faced immense grief and learning to parent after loss. This experience has been so isolating and painful but connecting with other loss moms has enabled me to express my grief and share our sweet daughter with those who understand at a soul level the life we now navigate.
