There's something beautiful about receiving a beautiful, touching, handwritten card from someone you've never met. We try and keep hospitals in our network stocked with handwritten cards that families will receive with a book or with their baby's keepsake box.

We are looking for a volunteer who is familiar with applying for grants and networking with potential sponsors! This is a remote position! We have a spreadsheet all ready to go with grant opportunities, we just need more hands-on-deck to be able to apply to them all.

We need fundraising ideas and an energetic person to bring those ideas to life! You would help brainstorm and execute fundraising and community events. A dedicated budget would be available for this position. Most planning can be done remotely, but this person should live in or around Charlotte.

Coordinating with busy hospitals and their staff takes time. This volunteer would call our local hospitals to begin the process of donating book carts. In addition, they would reach back out to our current hospital partners to make sure they have everything they need & train them on our available resources. Estimated time needed: ~3 hrs/month

Finding time to gather with women, hear their stories, and lift up one another takes time. This volunteer would reach out to local moms and help them connect with the resources and help they need. This volunteer is a real people-person and prefers to help one or two people at a time. This person should live in or around Charlotte.

We are looking for someone with a passion for books and literacy education to be our Library Coordinator! You would reach out to library systems to see about donating books to their collection, and collaborate with libraries to host "Story Time" with copies of The Rabbit Listened.
